Financial donation for war heroes' welfare projects
Mr. Shehan De Silva, Managing Director of the Global Business Outsourcing company, has donated a sum of 15,000 rupees for the use of welfare projects underway to enhance the livelihood of the war heroes who have sacrificed their lives and limbs to safe the motherland.
The cheque was handed over to the chairperson of the Defence Ministry's Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksha, at the function held at the Defence Ministry premises yesterday, 27 January.
